Exporting

Export formats and limits

Formats

  • MP4 video — the default. 8 seconds at 60fps, with the sting (and soundtrack, if set) baked into the audio track. On browsers without MP4 encoding support, you get a WebM with identical content — every major platform accepts both.
  • PNG image — a still of the broadcast at its peak frame (headline fully revealed). Handy for chats where autoplay is unreliable, or when you want the classic static meme.

Aspect ratios

One click switches the composition:

  • 9:16 (vertical) — TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts.
  • 16:9 (1920×1080) — YouTube, X, and anywhere widescreen.
  • 1:1 (square) — feed posts.

The lower third, ticker and badge re-lay themselves for each format — nothing gets cropped off.

Resolution and watermark per plan

  • Free — exports render at 720p with a small watermark.
  • Pro1080p, no watermark, still 60fps.

The 60fps frame rate applies on every plan; it's what keeps the ticker crawl and typewriter reveal smooth instead of stuttery.

The free export cap

Free accounts get 3 exports per month. The counter resets on the 1st of each month. Previews are unlimited and don't count — only completed exports do. Pro removes the cap entirely.

Signing in

The editor is free to use without an account; exporting requires signing in with a free Google account so we can count exports against your plan. Rendering still happens entirely in your browser after you sign in — see privacy: what leaves your device.

Where the file goes

The MP4/WebM/PNG is encoded on your device and downloads through your browser like any other file. There is no upload, no render queue and no server copy. On most machines an export finishes in a few seconds; very old hardware just takes a little longer.
